New Jersey State Police are looking for information about a motorcycle accident on Interstate 195 late Sunday afternoon has left two people dead.

Gary Hartdorn, 53, of Brick and his passenger and his passenger, Mary Healey, 56 were killed when their motorcycle hit a guard rail on the eastbound side near #16 (Six Flags) around 4:40 p.m.

Police says that Hartdorn lost control of his Suzuki 1500 Intruder and veered off to the right side of the road hitting a guardrail. Healey and Hartdon were found laying on the right shoulder while the motorcycle was on the left side.

Lt. Stephen Jones of the New Jersey State Police says investigators are looking for information to assist with their investigation but are not looking for anything or anyone specific.

The roadway was closed in the eastbound direction for several hours to allow for the medical helicopter to land and an investigation. Traffic was snarled on Route 537 through the area runs by Six Flags Great Adventure, which is holding their Fright Fest Halloween attraction and Jackson Premium Outlets.
