2 year old girl falls from 2nd floor balcony at Seaside Heights motel

Seaside Heights-- A 2 year old girl is in stable condition after falling almost 17 feet from a 2nd story balcony at the Skyview Manor Motel in Seaside Heights Saturday night.

The girl is currently being held at the hospital for observation and is expected to be released soon according to police.

A parent was on the balcony at the time of the fall where a 'spindle' was missing from the section the girl fell through.

Investigators found the Reading, Pennsylvania girl conscious, alert, and crying outside the motel on Dupont Avenue around 8pm.
