An SUV trying to pass a turning school bus on Hope Chapel Road in Jackson wound up with the injured SUV driver being arrested.Jackson Police say a 2001 Ford Explorer driven by Patrick Fisher of Ocean Gate tried to pass the bus carrying 14 students from the Goetz Middle School were traveling north on Hope Chapel Road as the bus began to make a left turn near the Earl Asphalt Plant. The front of the bus struck the SUV flipping it completely around and landing on all four wheels.

Two passengers inside the Ford suffered non-life threatening neck and back injuries; no one on board the bus was hurt. Jackson Public Schools spokeswoman Allison Erwin says that a second bus was sent to take the students to school.

Fisher was ticketed for driving with a suspended drivers license, improper passing and not changing the address on his license. He was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
