In Newark today, Mario Galli, 23, of Toms River, and John Capozzi, 34, of Union, each pleaded guilty to a count of distributing more than 500 grams of cocaine, according to the office of New Jersey U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman.

They and eight members of the DeCavalcante operation were arrested in March 2015. Galli and Capozzi admitted that between December 2014 and March 2015, they assumed roles in selling more than a half-kilo of cocaine to an FBI agent for an estimated $78,000.

At their scheduled March 21, 2016 sentencing, each faces a possible prison term of five to 40 years and fines as high as $5 million.
