For the second time this week in Ocean County, a person has drowned. This time a 77-year-old man was found dead in a pool at home on Radcliffe Road Thursday afternoon, according to The Lacey Reporter.

Authorities have not released the man's name. The investigation is ongoing.

Lacey Police, MONOC Paramedics, the Lacey Township and Lanoka Harbor EMS squads and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department CIU responded to the scene.

On Monday night, a two-year-old girl drowned in a neighbor's pool on Bittern Lane  in Berkeley Township. The Ocean County Prosecutor's Office continues investigating the incident and has not announced any charges at this time.

Al Della Fave, spokesman for the Prosecutor's Office, said the pool didn't have adequate fencing.

The Asbury Park Press reported drugs were found in the child's home. The girl's parent's reported her missing around 8:30 p.m. Monday. Shortly after, she was discovered floating in the shallow end of the pool, according to Della Fave.

Investigators interviewed the parents and the neighbor in the hours following the tragedy.
