A suspect wanted for allegedly holding up a gas station attendant at the Gulf on Lacey Road in Manchester's Whiting section Saturday night remains on the loose, according to Township police.

Authorities say the victim reported being approached by the suspect around 10 p.m. and threatened with a knife in his stomach as the man demanded money. He then escaped on foot with $1,500 cash and the victim's Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge cell phone.

The suspect is described by police as being a black male, about 30 years of age, standing 5’10” with a medium build and a semi-groomed beard and mustache. He was reported to be wearing a blue and yellow hooded sweatshirt at the time of the incident.

Assisting in the case where members of the Manchester Township Police Patrol and Investigations Bureaus, K-9 handler Steven Wendruff and his partner Lynk.

The case is under investigation by Det. David Fusaro.
