Berkeley Township Pair Nabbed in Early Morning Drug Raid

A multi-tiered drug probe leads to a house on a quiet Berkeley Township street - and the arrest of the man and woman inside it.
Robert Sanders, 37, and Yolanda Richardson, 34, face drug and weapons charges following this morning's no-knock warrant raid orchestrated by the office of Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph D. Coronato.

Police seized more than a half-ounce of cocaine, an undisclosed amount of marijuana, a loaded .45 caliber handgun, packaging materials commony used in drug activity and more than $700 cash, authorities said.

Each faces seven individual counts, and both were sent to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River, authorities said.
