Two Bradley Beach families are displaced following a fire early Sunday that started in a garage with an attached shed at a home on Fourth Avenue, according to authorities.

The Asbury Park Press reports the fire was reported shortly after 5 a.m., and spread to  a home on Fifth avenue and two adjacent Beach Avenue homes. No one was injured.

The Fifth Avenue home was vacant at the time and sustained the most damage, with flames burning the rear and the roof partially collapsing, according to the Asbury Park Press.

The cause of the blaze remains under investigation by the Bradley Beach Fire Marshal, Bradley Beach Police, and the Monmouth County Fire Marshal.

Firefighters and First Aid members from Neptune, Neptune City and Ocean Grove assisted at the scene, as well as the Monmouth County EMS Task Force.
