At a time when teams are eagerly preparing for the upcoming season Brick Township High School will have to search for a new coach.

Less than three months before the season opener Rob Dahl has resigned after just two seasons at his alma mater.  Dahl informed his team captains Monday night that he was stepping down for personal reasons but there has been a lot of speculation that there were other factors involved in the sudden decision by the 1991 Brick graduate who played for the legendary Warren Wolf.  Dahl was 9-11 in his two seasons as head coach, including 3-7 in 2012.

Athletic Director Bill Bruno is expected to post the job opening immediately and plans to fill the position as fast as he can.  The Green Dragons open the season on Friday, September 13th in a game that will be broadcast on The Shore Sports Network.

Among potential candidates to replace Dahl names that have surfaced include varsity assistants Len Zdanowicz and Brian McNamara and head freshman coach Don Marino.
