Clownfest will be returning to Seaside Heights in 2014 after taking a one-year break.

Earlier this year,Vincent "Zappo" Pagliano of Colt Neck said he was moving the event to Pennsylvania because he didn't feel he was getting cooperation from Seaside Heights. He now says he believes he'll work things out with town officials.

Pagliano of Colt Neck tells the Asbury Park Press he's confident they'll get the cooperation they need from Seaside officials to host multi-day event in September of 2014 and believes “will work out all that stuff.”

Seaside Mayor Bill Akers says Clownfest usually draws between 15,000 and 20,000 visitors to the town.“Seaside Heights certainly benefits from Clownfest coming back,” the mayor told the . “It’s an event that should be on the boardwalk. I know a lot of people are going to be excited.”

Clownfest was moved to Lancaster, Pennsylvania this year.
