Coast Guard Rescues Jet Skiers near Brigantine
Two female jet skiers are safe after having to be rescued by the Coast Guard Sunday afternoon near Brigantine.
An aviation maintenance technician from Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City operates a rescue basket
The women ran aground in marshlands around 1:30 p.m., according to a news release from the Coast Guard. A MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew from Air Station Atlantic City responded.
A rescue swimmer was lowered to the women and hoisted them to safety. Both women declined medical assistance and were picked up by a family member.
