Members of the Monmouth Vicinage Family Engagement Committee and the Monmouth Bar Association explain expungement conditions and procedures in two upcoming free workshops.

The first is Tuesday, October 27, 6 to 8 PM, at the Mercy Center, 1106 Main Street, Asbury Park. Another takes place Tuesday, November 24, 6 to 8 PM, at the Western Monmouth YMCA, 41 Center Street, Freehold.

Attorneys will not address individual cases, but they will explain how juvenile records are expunged, the eligibility time frame, filing procedures, and what happens once it is granted.

Registration is necessary, need for language assistance must be noted in advance, and juveniles must be accompanied by parents or guardians.
