Representatives from FEMA will be on hand to answer your questions and provide you with the valuable information you need.  While there will be a component geared mainly for Ocean Gate residents, Mayor Paul Kennedy is inviting anyone who was directly affected by the storm to attend.

Kennedy explains "this idea came to me after our office was flooded with phone calls.  People need the correct information and it's hard to keep track of everything going on.  With the new flood maps, we felt it was important to hold a session like this."

Aside from FEMA, speakers scheduled to attend and give brief presentations include the Ocean Gate Construction/Code Officer, Borough Engineer, Habitat for Humanity , Hope & Healing, Ocean Monmouth Legal Services , Operation Hope, which is a builder who has experience in elevating homes, and several others.

There will be time for some questions and answers as well as one on one conversations with all the professionals after the meeting is over.

Kennedy adds "so i urge all homeowners who have questions about what to do to get back into their homes and how to deal with it to please come  and attend and get the information you need."

The meeting takes place Wednesday night at 7 in the municipal building.
