Four shore men suspected of roles in heroin distribution in northern Ocean County are rounded up, following searches in Brick and Manchester where they allegedly stored thousands of doses and thousands in cash.

Mathew Davis, 24, of Lakewood, and Steven Stallworth, 29, of Asbury Park, were arrested following raids on November 1 at two houses, 2684 Spruce Drive in Manchester, and 112 Greenwood Loop Road in Brick, and a mobile home in Brick at 841 Route 70, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph D. Coronato's office.

Their bails were set at $150,000 apiece.

Detectives who obtained no-knock warrants said they found about 2,350 hits of heroin and about $1,500 cash. They also searched and seized a 2016 Jeep Cherokee.

Also arrested were Charles Novellano, 41, and Daniel Alvarado, 47, both of Brick, who occupied the Route 70 dwelling at the time of the search. They were released to await court appearances.

The probe was led by the Prosecutor's Special Operations Group, Northern Enforcement Unit, and by police form Brick, Manchester and Lakewood Townships.

Davis and Stallworth are charged with possession of heroin, possession with intent to distribute, and distribution. Novellano and Alvarado are charged with possession, and possession with intent to distribute.

Charges are accusations. Defendants are presumed innocent unless, and until, found guilty in a court of law.
