According to Manalapan Patch.Com and New Jersey Jewish News, The images of hate were painted on sidewalks, signs, fences, utility boxes and vehicles in the Monmouth Heights section of Manalapan.

Meanwhile, the Monmouth County Board of Freeholders are condemning the bias graffiti.  In a press release Freeholder Director John P. Curley said “I condemn in the strongest possible terms this bigoted intolerance and anti-Semitic messages that were inflicted on the residents of this fine community. It has no place in Monmouth County or anywhere.”

Freeholder Deputy Director Thomas A. Arnone adds “Religious persecution in any form is contrary to the founding principals of America.  While we’d like to think the treatment of the Jews during World War 11 taught us right from wrong, the sad fact is the lesson was lost on some people. I personally find this kind of vandalism despicable.”

The graffiti was found in the areas of Taylors Mills Road and Route 9 about 12:30 Thursday morning.

Manalapan Mayor Susan Cohen urges anyone with information to contact Police Detective Thomas Mantle at 732-446-4300.

There’s word Public Works Staffers have been asked to look out for discarded cans of spray paint and to report anything suspicious to Police.  Reports say, security will be beef up during the upcoming Jewish holidays.
