It's one thing to get a visit from the owner of a restaurant during your meal. It's another when the restaurant is the Soul Kitchen in Toms River and the owner is Jon Bon Jovi.

Carol Cesario, a huge Bon Jovi fan who has stage four lung cancer, had the dinner of a lifetime when Bon Jovi spent more an hour with her on Saturday — sharing the band's new album, and giving her a signed guitar and book.

"It was a very emotional and amazing day for our whole family and we thank you all so so much," her daughter, Ruth Skeripkiunis, wrote on her Facebook page.

In another post, Skeripkiunis wrote that along with her mother and sister, Bon Jovi was their "thing."  The resident of Ephrata, Pennsylvania wrote, "hanging out with freaking Bon Jovi was absolutely freaking insane."

Skeripkunis created a GoFundMe page to"make things a little easier" for her parents during her cancer battle.

At Bon Jovi's, Soul Kitchen, patrons have the option of eating free in exchange for working in the kitchen, or they can donate $10 or more for their meals at their discretion.
