Manchester-- Today Homes for All will break ground on a new establishment of homes in their Autumn Ridge townhouse project and it looks to be similar to the project built in the North Dover section of Toms River.

"We've cleared the property, it's a total of about a 23-acre site," said Glen McDonald, Executive Director of Homes for All. "It'll remain a wood surrounded, kind of secluded private site. We're going to have 82 great town homes there, both two and three bedrooms and they're what we call 'value price' so they'll be very affordable units."

Officials have already begun clearing the land for the project at the intersection of Routes 70 and 571 also called Ridgeway Road and it's image will draw comparison to the homes built in Toms River on a previous project.

"The look will be very similar as far as the product type, again it's a two-story product type," said McDonald. "We have tweaked them and improved them. We're going to have nine-foot first floors and were including some additional features."

McDonald adds all together they think it will be a nicer offering than what is in Toms River and reiterates how ideal of a location this Manchester project is at.

"It's a super convenient location," said McDonald. "It's the best of both worlds, it's kind of a secluded wooded site but then it's close to shopping, recreation, dining and then quick access to the highways and beaches."

If your looking to find out more information on this project McDonald says you can stop by their sales office located on the project site with marketing information you may view or you can call them at 732-849-3061.

"We're just waiting for final approvals from the state to be able to start taking contracts," said McDonald. "We anticipate that will happen within the next several weeks."

However if your looking to become an owner at one of these homes inside the Manchester development McDonald says there are a few among the 82 that are affordable.

"The final pricing hasn't been set yet but of the 82 units, 17 of the units will be affordable units," said McDonald. "There's a state formula which we can help people navigate when they come in. The balance of the units do not have income limits on them."

Even with Wednesday's groundbreaking Homes for All has other projects on the table but this is their main focus right now.

"It's our primary focus right now, we are actually...we have several other projects that we're working on throughout Ocean County," said McDonald. "We're not ready to market those yet but there are other projects that were working on that we'll be announcing shortly."

McDonald adds Homes for All is celebrating their 30th year providing great communities throughout Ocean County and their work continues.

"Our communities are very much geared towards first time buyers and families," said McDonald. "They are maintenance free units, they are very affordable value priced and they all come with great amenities."

All together he says they are a great place for a first time buyer to get a home.

McDonald says they expect the first home to be finished by the end of the year and the entire project within two years.
