One of the greatest moves that our company Townsquare Media has ever made was taking us out of our small, old, cramped studios in Bayville and relocating us to beautiful downtown Toms River with views overlooking the Toms River and beautiful Huddy Park.

Huddy Park is the township's oldest park established in 1905 and has gone through some major storms including Super Storm Sandy.  It was redeveloped in 1992 when Toms River celebrated its 225th birthday, but she's due for another upgrade and that will be starting this fall with a $1,000,000 makeover including benches, new landscaping and reconstructing the replica of the Toms River Blockhouse - a Revolutionary Fort.  There's a lot of history here in downtown Toms River!

Growing up in Monmouth County as kids we always hung out either in Holmdel Park or Marine Park in Red Bank and I have so many fond memories, so maybe (just maybe) after this is finished the kids today will also get to experience a walk along the river or lunch in the Gazebo with Mom and Dad or Gramma and Granpa.  Not that you couldn't do that today, but in the near future it's going to be even grander.

See... so there IS more to do than just look down at your smart device, you just have to turn it off to find out, and it's free!  Go make a memory and I'll keep you updated on the progress!!
