Keep Occupied During The Storm With Adult Coloring

Even though Hurricane Joaquin almost surely will be going out to sea, it's still going to be an 'ucky' weekend.  So, what to do?

This morning  on Bob and Marianne, Kevin Williams asked me what my plans were for the weekend - I said 'making a fire, laying on the couch with my puppies and coloring'.  He looked a little surprised at my answer, but I explained to him about my newfound stress relieving activity: coloring.

He kind of made fun of me, UNTIL I showed him my works of art and he was quite impressed.  I told him that adult coloring has become very popular.

After that conversation, I had listener friends calling and asking where they could find these books.  The books are almost everywhere now, but check out Barnes and Noble or even online.

I've always loved coloring as a kid, but now it's a whole new level: one picture could actually take me hours to finish.
