Macedonia Baptist Church's tradition of more than 25 years' standing continues under the aegis of its Senior Pastor, Dr. Edward D. Harper.

"We are doing the same this year," he said. "We will prepare approximately 2,000 meals."

A few able volunteers will help the mission succeed. "We need volunteers to help in the kitchens, help put food in 'take out' plates, and drivers who are willing to use their trucks and vans to deliver food to the needy," Pastor Harper said.

If you have a special yummy dessert recipe, Pastor Harper encourages you to whip up a batch and bring it along.

Those willing to step up should plan on arriving at the church, 143 John Street, at 7 AM. The work should be wrapped up by about 12:30 PM.

Volunteers should call the church in advance. Leave your name and phone number for coordinators, 732-905-3878.
