It was inevitable. It was only a matter of time.

I got called out for the ALS ice bucket challenge, but I got called out just seconds apart from two different people, so I had to do it twice.

This did not bother me because my friend Beth lost her husband John to ALS last year. We decided to do it after the show.

Armed with two five-pound bags of ice and two coolers of water, I stood on the Seaside Park boardwalk with the chief of police, four officers - one of whom dumped the water on my head - and a number of Seaside Park officials. My second challenge was put into motion by Jonathan Herman, from Preferred Home Health Care services, who was more than happy to dump the second thing of ice on my head.

I was very happy it was a warm morning! Check out my video below!
