Monmouth Hawks Take on Rider Broncs

The Monmouth Hawks enter the Metro Atlantic Athletic Tournament as the eighth seed, and in their first round match-up will take on the ninth-seeded Rider Broncs on Thursday at 5:00 p.m. at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, Massachusetts.

MU dropped both of it's regular season contests to Rider, but played their in-state rivals incredibly tough, including dropping an overtime affair in Lawrenceville. The Broncs come in to the game on a tailspin, losing four straight to end the regular season, while the Hawks dropped 10 of their last 11 to end the regular season.

Eddy Occhipinti and Matt Harmon will have the live play-by-play of the first round contest, and they will be joined by Steve Bazaz for pregame, halftime and postgame for Thursday's game. The pregame show starts at 4:45pm on 1160/1310 AM, ShoreSportsNetwork.com and on the free radioPup app.
