Ocean Twp.--Two Monmouth County adult teenagers are facing a number of charges after motor vehicle stop just after 1:30 am Friday leads to the discovery of marijuana, acid tabs, prescription legend drugs and drug paraphernalia.

19-year old Kyla Robinson of Shrewsbury Borough was pulled over by Ocean Township Police on State Highway 66 for driving with a defective license plate light, but upon investigation authorities found a number of narcotics and related substances.

Robinson along with her passenger 18-year old Darryl Edwards of Red Bank were both arrested and charged.

Edwards who had warrants exisiting for his arrest, was later processed and released on his own recognizance.

However Kyla Robinson is charged with Possession of Prescription Legend Drugs which include 2 Eszopiclone pills, 3 Alprazolam pills, 1 Hydroxyzine Hydrochloride pill, and 1 Amphetamine pill, Possession of Acid, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

She also was given two motor vehicle summonses for operating a motor vehicle with drugs inside and failing to maintain lamps before her release on complaint summonses ahead of a future trial.
