A picture was tweeted out of the group of Ocean County employees that calls themselves “Ocean’s 16″ at Lottery headquarters in Lawrenceville with their “check” for $86 million indicating they are taking their payment in one lump sum.

Each of the seven men and nine women will get about $3.8 million after taxes, lottery spokeswoman Judith Drucker said.

The Lottery has called a press conference for Tuesday afternoon to formally introduce the at the Toms River branch of the Ocean County Library.

Only one of the group, Sue Nichel of Eagleswood, has gone public with her winning. Another member of the group was photographed and interviewed by the New York Post but he did not give his name.

Three winning tickets were sold for last Wednesday’s Powerball jackpot.   Each winning ticket was worth $86 million before taxes, or $58.3 million after taxes, if taken in a lump sum. They are worth $149.4 million over 30 years if the winners choose the annuity option.

The Ocean’s 16 group purchased their ticket at the Acme supermarket in Little Egg Harbor; New Jersey’s second winning ticket was sold at the Stop and Shop in South Brunswick and has so far stayed anonymous. The third ticket holder from Minnesota came forward last week.
