In addition to time on the Ocean Township force, Jeffrey Algor served as a Class II special officer in Avon-by-the-Sea, and as a dispatcher for Spring Lake Police. He earned a baccalaureate degree from Moravian College.

Glennis Del Carmen Polanco, formerly a Class I special officer and 911 telecommunicator for the Carteret Police Department, holds a bachelor's degree from Berkeley College.

Both begin training this month at the Ocean County Police Academy in Waretown.
