Carlos Diaz Rojas, 54, was charged on one third-degree count today, following a search and seizure of computers and hard drives in the Philadelphia Avenue dwelling, according to information from the office of Ocean County Prosecutor Joseph D. Coronato.

The arrest is part of Coronato's local extension of the "Operation Statewide" sweep, in which 40 suspected child porn traffickers were rounded up earlier this month.

County High Tech Crime Unit (HTCU) detectives and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) are collaborating in what Coronato's office has labeled a continuous "Cyber Child Pornography Drag Net."

Questions regarding Rojas's citizenship status resulted in an immigration detainer. He was sent to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River, with bail set at $100,000, cash only.

Criminal charges are accusations. Defendants are presumed innocent unless, and until, found guilty in a court of law.
