Red Bank child porn suspect indicted on federal charges
The onetime nursery school aide and private-school camp counselor in Monmouth County, arrested on suspicion of digital child pornography possession in July 2015, moves closer to a possible trial.
James Paroline, 27, of Red Bank, was indicted by a federal grand jury on one count of receipt, and one count of possession, of child pornography, according to the office of New Jersey U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman.
Investigators said that they traced degrading images, downloaded from a web site on March 1 and 2, 2015, to the user name and IP address on Paroline's home computer.
Authorities seized a desktop unit, laptop, iPhone, hard drive and six DVDs, according to documents filed in the case.
Charges are accusations. Defendants are presumed innocent unless, and until, found guilty in a court of law.
