A fight that erupted into a stabbing in Lakewood leaves one man dead and his car wrapped around a utility pole.
Police respond to a fatal stabbing and accident in Lakewood
A report in the Lakewood Scoop identifies the victim only as a 32-year-old who jumped into a car after being gored with a knife on Martin Luther King Drive, and made it as far as a convenience store on River Avenue before crashing into a pole.
The victim reportedly died later Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus.
Township police have issued no official information about the incident.
