A Bayville man is under arrest in connection with 5 burglaries in Toms River and Berkeley Township that included home invasions. 26-year-old William Needham of Bayville, is charged with 3 residential burglaries.  Needham is also charged with two other burglaries that occured in Toms River and Berkeley Township last month.

He was picked up Friday after a resident spotted a suspicious truck parked in the driveway of a neighbor's home on Lester Road during the time it was robbed.

Toms River Police  Chief Mike Mastronardy says that within 90 minutes of Friday's burglary, a Beachwood detective stopped a suspicious vehicle on Route 9.  Police say they recovered  jewelry from and arrested the suspect.

Needham is currently being held on $20,000 bail in the Ocean County Jail.
