The Soulsational Music Festival Returns to Berkeley Township

Bringing holistic health, wellness, music and happiness to the region. That just about sums up the goal of the fourth annual Soulsational Music Festival taking place at Veteran's Park in Berkeley Township this Saturday.

Festival Director Michelle Leonard said the day will feature live music from local artist, over

100 venders from the health, wellness and green communities, as well as food, local charities and crafters.

"I'm trying to make it a completely interactive experience. So people can come in and there's something to do," said "Like, there's classes ... You can look at it yourself. The schedule is phenomenal."

Leonard said she came up with the idea for the festival while driving on the Garden State Parkway, "I always said I want everybody to feel "soul good", so it just became the Soulsational Festival.

"It was meant to bring you know, music and wellness together and green options and bring together the community and something that would motivate and inspire health and wellness."

The event is free and runs from 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. on Saturday July 26. However, Leonard is asking that you bring a nonperishable food item, school supply or a gently used toy to help fill the shelves of local charities.

According to the festival press release, "some of the featured vendors this year include businesses such as Kula Kamala Yoga, Lave Soaps, and more. The event will be rounded off with interactive exhibits, healthy food options and organic beer, and numerous planned activities- there is something for everyone and all ages!"

There will also be live music from over 30 New Jersey Artists and Bands!
