The quick reaction of a Toms River resident leads to the arrest of three car burglary suspects.  Police Chief Mike Mastronardy says three township men were taken into custody early Monday morning when a Vaughan Avenue resident alerted police.

Mastronardy says Officer Christopher McDowell located the tree suspects in the area and after an investigation arrested Dale Parducci, Kyle Cannon and Timothy Simpson. Officers recovered numerous items from over a dozen unlocked vehicles on Vaughan, Goosecreek, Redwood, Fairview, Culpepper and Glendale.

Parducci is being held on $35,000 bail. Gannon and Simpson on $50,000.

Mastronardy says in an unrelated burglary, a Sierra Drive resident said two men entered unlocked cars at 5 a.m. the same morning. The suspects reportedly rode off on BMX style bikes toward Lynn Drive. One suspect was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt the other a gray. Over 6 vehicles were reported entered on Mulberry, Cypress, and Sierra Drives. An investigation continues.

Police are once again reminding residents to secure valuables and lock vehicles.
