Toms River Budget Unveiled
Toms River officials introduce their spending plan for 2012 with the average tax bill expected to rise about 79 dollars a year.
Spending is in check but revenues for the town are down thanks largely to tax appeals from homeowners and a loss in ratables.
The proposed budget includes no layoffs or furloughs. State aid remains flat at a little over $8million.
The $100.6 million budget gets a public hearing on May 1st.
