A trio from Trenton faces drug, weapons and hindering charges in Manchester in the aftermath of a Monday night police pullover. A search yielded narcotics and a loaded handgun, police said.

Two were sent to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River. Malkisua Rosado, 21, is charged with possessin of a firearm, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and hindering apprehension. His bail was set at $75,000.

Jean Auguste, 37, faces two counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. His bail was set at $25,000.

The driver, Zoraida Carmona, 21, was released after being processed on a charge of hindering apprehension.

According to police, Patrolman Anthony Iliadis stopped the 2014 Honda Accord on Ridgeway Road at about 8 PM, on the strength of a motor vehicle violation.

After determining that Auguste was the subject of a warrant issued in New York, the patrolman found him in possession of cocaine and marijuana.

Sensing the odor of marijuana oozing from the interior, the officer summoned the K9 team of Patrolman Mark Micciulla and Storm for a perimeter check.

Storm's reaction, indicating narcotics. predicated a search that unearthed a loaded .357 revolver along with drugs and related items, police said.
