Two Lakewood Families Left Homeless By Fire [VIDEO]
A blaze at an apartment complex in Lakewood leaves two families homeless.
The fire broke out around 6:10 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Drive building Thursday and was extinguished quickly and didn't spread to any other units according to the LakewoodScoop.com.
Flames were seen shooting from the basement into the apartment above.
Some were treated for smoke inhalation.
The Red Cross is assisting the displaced families; the Fire Marshal's office continues their investigation into the cause of the blaze.
