Two road repaving projects in Brick Township next week

Sections of two busy thoroughfares in Brick Township get new faces this coming week. Drivers, now is the time to map alternates.

Ocean County's Road Department plans a two-day repaving job on Hooper Avenue between Mantoloking Road-Cedar Bridge Avenue and Drum Point Road, Monday August 17 and Tuesday August 18. The work is planned for nighttimes, 7 PM until 6 AM.

In addition, Burrsville Road undergoes repaving between Lanes Mill Road and Jack Martin Boulevard, Monday through Thursday. This will take place during daytime hours, 7 AM until 5 PM.
