Good morning!

Happy Monday. First of all, let me be fair in saying that I ran (and lost) my bid for Board of Ed two years ago here in Toms River. Second, I ran as part of a "ticket" with the support of the Republican Party at the time. Now that that's out of the way, to the issue. First, kudos to the Board for doing what they needed to do in the face of adversity (no comment on a special Saturday meeting in the middle of the Summer). Second, I firmly believe that administration is doing the best that they can to put Humpty Dumpty back together again after years of corruption. Third, can we please move along from the fact that this is not a political position. We know it should be about the kids and nothing more, but, shouldn't Mayor be about the citizens of a town? Shouldn't Congress be about the citizens of our country? What's the difference? Get over it already! By the way, if you're not voting for Ginny Rhine this November, you clearly don't care about kids. On a final note, pay attention to the fact that we now have 16000 kids or so. That number continues to shrink leading to these necessary tax hikes. That's where we should be focusing....bring young families to our district (or feed all the current families more oysters).
