Gov. Chris Christie is expected to announce he is a candidate for president at 11 a.m. at Livingston High School.

Hundreds are expected to fill the gymnasium of the school he graduated from in 1980 and earned his first political victories as a member of the student government.

After his announcement Christie will leave for New Hampshire for a number of campaign stops around the southern and central areas of the state. He will march in the Wolfeboro Fourth of July parade on Saturday, the same town where 2012 GOP candidate Mitt Romney has a summer home on Lake Winnepasauke.
