They have done so over the last five years through their website and bi-weekly newspaper and their team is headed up by Director and CEO Steve Meyer and Senior Managing Editor Scott Stump.  Stump is well-known throughout the shore area and a fixture at football, basketball and baseball games.  His staff includes Matt Manley and Bob Badders and along with Scott they can be found on sidelines and in gymnasiums shooting video, interviewing athletes in between tweets with scoring updates.

I mention this because Townsquare Media has entered into an exclusive partnership with All Shore Media and the two of us will team up to provide what we believe will be incredible sports coverage at the Jersey Shore and it will fall under the umbrella of our Shore Sports Network.

All Shore Media readers and followers can expect the same great online and print coverage along with our on-air production of high school football, Monmouth University football and basketball, the New York Jets, Lakewood BlueClaws and events like the WOBM Christmas Classic.

The core of what we do is shoresportsnetwork.com which over the next few days will undergo a complete overhaul and include all the elements of what previously was allshoremedia.com.  Along with Stump, Manley and Badders you’ll regularly get contributions from the Shore Sports Network’s Ed Sarluca, Matt Harmon and of course yours truly.

Townsquare Regional Vice President Greg Janoff said this partnership allows us to serve our local communities with great programming and events that matter and the project is an exciting one because all of us involved share a passion for Shore Conference sports.

There will be more to come and keep checking shoresportsnetwork.com.

The second full weekend of the high school football season will find us at Monsignor Donovan tonight where the defending Class B South champion Griffins begin conference play against Lakewood, a team that expects to contend for the title this fall.

Kickoff is at 7pm and you can hear it all on 105.7FM or listen to the live stream at shoresportsnetwork.com.  Tonight’s other top games include Southern at Toms River South and Brick at Middletown South.
