One of my greatest memories growing up was getting into my pajamas and my parents loading us into our station wagon to go to the Rt 35 Drive In Theater in Eatontown. My first movie was 101 Dalamations and that's something I'll never forget.

I really feel sorry for kids today because they will never get to experience a family outing like that because there are no more drive-ins around here anymore. But, wait, they will be something close to at First Energy Park home of the Lakewood BlueClaws.

Tonight being shown on their brand new 1,850 sq. ft. screen, The Lego Movie.

The gates will open at 6:30 and the movie will start at 7:30. Concession stands will be open, tickets are just $4.00 for 5 year old and up (children 4 and under are free). Seating will be in the lower seating bowl or bring a blanket and lay on the field.

So tonight a fun affordable family memory night can be made!

Additional movie nights will take place July 20th and August 3rd.
