First Responder Block Party in Seaside Park

Time to Move On from Central-East Incident

I was able to view video of the incident between Central and Toms River East and to be honest the fight was not that big of a deal and most of the problems resulted from players coming off the bench. It’s time to move on.

Parents Crossing the (Side)line

It seems like at least once a year I address the issue of how parents’ involvement in high school and youth sports has crossed the line and often provides a sad commentary on the times we live in. I did not plan on bringing that up today until a co-worker sent me an article which detailed how some of the most successful coaches in central New York have resigned or been forced out by over-the-top parents.

Carrying The Torch for Summer

I don’t pretend to me some kind of fashion expert but thanks to my wife and some common sense I have a decent idea of what looks good and what does not, especially when it comes to coordinating colors.
