Authorities say they are still searching for a suspect in connection with the March 7 shooting death of a 33-year-old man in New Brunswick.

According to police, Marcos Hernandez of Passaic was gunned down on Drift Street in New Brunswick at about 6:30 p.m. In addition, a 27-year-old man was also shot, and remains hospitalized for his injuries.

Following the incident, both victims were taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick where Hernandez was pronounced dead, according to a press release by Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey and Director Anthony Caputo of the New Brunswick Police Department.

Authorities say no arrests have been made in the shooting. The investigation is "active and ongoing."
