As he campaigns for the Republican nomination for president, Gov. Chris Christie continues to spend more time in other states than New Jersey, he’s a lame duck governor and his approval numbers have hit rock bottom with New Jersey voters.
The fourth Republican presidential debate Tuesday night in Milwaukee had Gov. Chris Christie on the undercard. He missed the cut for the main event, but might not have missed the mark with the extra time he was allotted at the so-called “kiddie table.”
In part because he was asked so many questions, Donald Trump seemed to dominate the second Republican presidential debate Wednesday night, but Gov. Chris Christie also managed to hold his own against the rest of the GOP panel.
Gov. Chris Christie has been tirelessly campaigning in New Hampshire and he's a frequent flier to Iowa, but he is gaining no traction with the voters in either state. Polls and national surveys also show him floundering near 10th in the crowded field of GOP presidential candidates.
