Three suspects, 916 decks of heroin in Howell Township bust

Suspects from three shore towns outside of Howell face heroin charges in the township, filed by police who say they seized 916 wax folds of the drug in the car they occupied.

Nyrahn T. Smith, 25, of Manalapan, was placed in the Monmouth County Correctional Institution (MCCI) in Freehold, with bail set at $150,000, according to police. Melissa Conner, 39, of South Toms River, and Michael J. Felicetta, 33, of Toms River, were placed in MCCI on $75,000 bail each.

Police say Felicetta was the driver, and Smith and Conner passengers, of the 2011 Chrysler 200 they stopped Thursday on suspicion of drug activity in a parking lot on Route 9.

During the consent search, officers also found $1,500 in cash and learned of an active warrant issued for Conner, police said. They seized the car as well as the drugs and cash.
