FAIR HAVEN - The Fair Haven council is placing thier confidence in Republican Benjamin Lucarelli to replace former Mayor Michael Halfacre. The Asbury Park Press reports the Council unanimously voted for Lucarelli out of the three submitted nominees after Council President Jonathan Peters took himself out of the running due to professional commitments.

ATLANTIC CITY – Casino patrons in Atlantic City will soon be Revel-ing in a new burlesque show. When the Revel Casino opens in April, one of its attractions will be “Ivan Kane’s Royal Jelly,” a burlesque show that blends a traditional nightclub with live bands and more than a dozen dancers who fan out into the audience

BARNEGAT  – A Barnegat man faces hit & run, DWI charges and a host of other charges after striking a vehicle in a grocery store parking lot this weekend. Police arrested 49-year-old Robert Cheek early Saturday morning after the victim gave police a license plate number and a description. Barnegat Police say cheek was allegedly intoxicated when they intercepted him at his residence. He was released and faces a future court date on several summonses.

KEYPORT - How will replacement of the Matawan Creek Bridge affect homeowners and drivers on either side of the span between Aberdeen and Keyport?
