He was presented by former New York Giants defensive end George Martin according to CBS Sports.

"I'm honored, I'm grateful and I'm thankful to everyone single one of you out there that had something to do with this,' said Parcells, the only coach to lead four different teams to the playoffs reports CBS Sports.

"Every organization I worked for supported me to the fullest," Parcells said according to ESPN. "Without that, you've got no shot."

The Englewood native coached the New England Patriots and Dallas Cowboys as well as the Jets and Giants.

In a 20-minute speech he talked about a friendship with the late Al Davis, owner of the Oakland Raiders. I don't know why befriended me." So there you have it, Davis did have friends. Case closed." He also talked about the bond between all the Hall Of Fame inductees. "There's a kinship created that lasts for the rest of your life," he said about his experience as one of the NFL's most successful coaches.

His 92-year-old high school basketball coach Mickey Corcoran made the trip to Canton, Ohio for the induction.
