Helpful Hints – Things To Do With Lemons
Marianne is back and she’s got some brand new Helpful Hints. Today we have Things To Do With Lemons:
- Clean your cheese grater – use the pulpy side of the lemon to dislodge leftover food and to add a fresh scent
- Keep potatoes white – submerge cut potatoes in a bowl and squeeze in fresh lemon; cook as usual
- Keep shower curtain fresh & clean – rub shower curtain with lemon juice to avoid mildew
- Shine your faucets – rub lemon over chrome faucets and rinse with water
- Make ink stains disappear – rub half a lemon into stain on any washable fabric and toss into cold water wash
- Brighten your whites – instead of using bleach, add 1/4 cup lemon juice to your wash cycle
